LOW SWINE FLU RISK

There have been plenty of reports on swine flu coming to Parliament House as though I am some form of carrier pigeon from Victoria. First of all I have no symptoms.
Like everyone else I have been told I am no more likely of contracting swine flu than the average Joe from Melbourne.
The truth of the matter is my sister in law was in quarantine at my family home over the weekend as she was quite ill and had no where else to go.
I have been told by doctors and the parliamentary nurse that I am of little risk of contracting or carrying swine flu.
This whole issue has been blown out of proportion and wasn’t a stunt like was reported in The Australian online.
Reporters at a press conference earlier today suggested I was being selfish by being in Canberra this week.
But given the advice I have received by doctors, telling me I am at no more risk than the average Victorian, I thought it best I go to work given the important climate change legalisation before the Parliament.
I’m currently taking a precautionary course of Tamiflu.
But this is only a precaution
Hang on there. All flu whether common or not originates from swine. Pigs have a similar metabolism to humans.
About 25 years ago I watched a program on TV where veterinary scientists, every year, trapped water birds migrating from Asian countries. They were taking blood and cloacal samples to send to the vaccine laboratories to make the vaccines in preparation for the following flu season.
The program showed how the water birds pick up the flu virus from Asian pig farms, migrate here and dump their load in our water catchments.

Personally I am more frightened of the vaccine than the flu.
I would also like to see some real figures, has any one actually died because of the swine flu, or just they were sick and died and happend to test positive for the swine flu?
Again follow the money, who has authorized the 21 million shots, who’s paying for it and who’s profiting?

the officials use consensus here to justify their dodgy science.
Don’t fall for the argument that not immunizing your child puts other children at risk, if the immunization works the other children are not at risk. If they are at risk it doesn’t work so why take it… is that simple enough.

To those who dont know it: H1N1 is a generic term form the same strain that has been dominant for the past 40 years. It is not significantly more dangerous than any other versions of this strain.
Still, pharmaceutical companies made several hundred million dollars worldwide from over-hyping the danger.

Well Steve for the sake of the country if you do have H1N1 flu virus please keep going to parliment house and infect the whole lot of them (politicians) as its only fair that politicians & families run the the risk of dying also.
I say this because I no longer believe anything this labor goverment says and it seems they’re more concerned with money (economy) than communty health. I’m Jewish and a large percentage of my friends are doctors and they dont believe the government either.

Steve , all the best, you have done us all proud. The evil new world order has had to wait another day to get their carbon enslavement tax in. Ignore the comments of the unsaved, take heart that you are suffering persacution for Christ.. He said you would, treat it all like water of a ducks back. They think we are the flat earthers but they are. The bible sais the earth is round. Also makes mention of a nasty man ( mr 666) running a world govt at the end. You just stood in their way for a moment in time. Good man.

Good response senator. Let’s keep things in perspective and not let the media and it’s manipulators create another overblown scare campaign.
I totally agree with your view on climate change and suggest that the “true GULLIBLE believers” like Gaz have been sucked in by Penny Wong who is currently unable to provide any substantive evidence. Let Rudd and Wong prove their position before we head down their path of certain uncertainty.
