What’s a political party doing at the Royal Melbourne Show?
FAMILY FIRST thinks a stand at the Show is a great way for the party to meet Victorian families and listen to their concerns. This is the second year FAMILY FIRST has had a stand at the Show.
FAMILY FIRST leader Steve Fielding will spend some days at the Show and is looking forward to chatting with people.
“Growing up in a family of 16 children meant there wasn’t much to go around, but my parents made sure we never missed a Royal Melbourne Show”, Steve said. “It’s a tradition my wife Sue and I have continued with our own three children.”
FAMILY FIRST will also be handing out bumper stickers as part of its “Hands off Medibank Private” campaign, calling on the Federal Government to ditch its plans to flog off Australia’s largest health insurer.
Every year more than half a million people attend the Show. Victorian families look forward to the Show all year.
The Show has a place in the hearts of many Victorian families and FAMILY FIRST thinks it is a great event.
